Dr. Mahmut Selim Ersan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering for being selected as the Dean's Outstanding Faculty in the UND College of Engineering & Mines at the University of North Dakota. Recent Funded Grants

ND Soybean Council project just funded!
Ersan Research Lab has selected for funding by ND Soybean Council grant. Our lab will be investigate the adsorption of PFAS by soybean-based adsorbents.

Department of Defense (DoD) SERDP Project just funded!
Ersan Research Lab has selected for funding by Deparment of Defense-SERDP 2024 chort. It will be collobration with Drs. Gamze Ersan (Co-PI) and Sergi Garcia-Segura (Co-PI) from Arizona State University. Our lab will investigate the electro-regeneration of PFAS-spent adsorbents.

NIH- Phase II Project just funded!!
Ersan Research Lab will be part of a $1.2M multi-institutional investigation backed by NIH- Phase II to explore the detection of PFAS using nano-based sensors.
