Gamze Ersan, Ph.D.
Visiting Faculty, ASEE eFellows
Dr. Ersan is an Assistant Research Professor and ASEE eFellows in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University. She is currently visiting faculty at the University of North Dakota.

She received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Environmental Engineering in 2014 at Istanbul University, Turkey. Dr. Ersan is an expert on the adsorption and Linear Solvation Energy Relationship (LSER) modeling of several conventional and novel carbon-based nanomaterials. As a visiting scholar at the University of North Dakota, her current research interests are novel hybrid electrochemical processes for the regeneration of PFAS-laden carbon-based adsorbents and predicting the adsorption efficiency using machine learning on nanomaterials.
She is a mother of two. Her favorite hobbies are hiking, camping, reading, and cooking.
